• Define the compelling event that leads to the next chapter?
• Talk to yourself – feelings, narrator’s response to what’s happening. People like the intimacy and insight into author’s motivation. Be more human – in doubt, vulnerable, anxious and honest.
• Reflect on where you are and take the reader with you.
• Put energy into what you are for, rather than what you are against.
• Invite reader to discover who you are and do parallel discovery. One of our most interesting journeys is who we are!
