What inspired you to write your memoir?
I was inspired to write my own memoir after I read “Are You Somebody?” and “Almost There” by the late Irish journalist Nuala O’Faolain. Her memoirs are filled with honesty and resilient humor.
About your Book:
Memories of a Catholic girlhood, studying acting, and working in theatre as an actress and director are interwoven in my tenderhearted and often hilarious memoir.
How did you decide how to publish your book and where is it published through:
I read about CreateSpace having no set-up fees and decided to publish a paperback edition of “Mirror Talk” through them. Not long afterwards, I published a Kindle edition of the book.
How do you see writing a Memoir as different from writing other genres of books?
In memoir writing, the truth is not disguised in the voices of fictional characters but is presented directly from the writer.
