I grew up with a congenital heart defect, and it affected my life. I wanted to share my story with other adolescents growing up with heart disease or other chronic conditions, as well as parents of children with congenital heart defects. I hope my book will help them through tough times, show them they’ll make it through, and to never give up their dreams.
