What inspired you to write your memoir?
I shared funny things that my children did and said with my Facebook friends and family. Several of them told me I should write a book about it. So, I did.
About your Book:
Kids really are comedians in miniature.
Whether contemplating the magical mysteries of dream fairies, rainbows, and turning 5, or just pondering the puzzles of everyday life โ such as how can you stand on your head and yet still swallow? โ the things that pop out of children’s mouths are priceless. Inspirational. And hilarious.
This slim memoir is a collection of true, humorous stories sure to make you smile, chuckle and even laugh out loud. (In addition, there is a novel excerpt in the back of the book).
These humorous snippets are just the right length to read on the go, or while waiting to pick up your child, grandchild, niece or nephew from school, dance or swimming lessons, or soccer practice.
How did you decide how to publish your book and where is it published through:
I’d already self published a thriller novel and knew the ropes, so I went with publishing through an author co-op called Windtree Press and putting the book up for sale on Amazon and Barnes and Noble.
How do you see writing a Memoir as different from writing other genres of books?
Writing fiction, is well, fiction. Memoir is creative non-fiction. It’s not so very different, it’s just using fact instead of fantasy.
